Mana API Usage Policy

Mana operates tools and utilities designed to assist members of its Torn faction in optimizing gameplay and managing faction-related activities. This policy outlines how Torn API keys are used within our systems.

Data Storage	Data may be visible within Mana Discord servers and/or stored in Mana databases until it is no longer required for operation.
Data Sharing	Information may be visible to Mana service operators and participating Mana faction members using the tools.
Purpose of Use	Mana bots and services use API data for features such as market tracking, hospital timing alerts, travel monitoring, player profiling, and other competitive gameplay tools including bounties and mugging alerts.
Key Storage & Security	API keys are stored securely and only accessed by Mana systems when making authorized Torn API requests. Keys are never sold or shared externally.
Key Access Level	Limited Access. Users should generate API keys with only the permissions required for Mana services. Public scope is not required.

1. Purpose of API Key Usage

By providing your Torn API key to Mana, you acknowledge and consent to its use solely for the following purposes:

• Faction Management: Accessing relevant data such as faction members, activity logs, chain participation, hospital status, and other faction-related information.
• Member Tools: Delivering utilities to help individual members and the admin team track performance, run various Discord bots, access player data, and utilize other in-game resources available through Mana's tools.

2. Scope of Data Access

Only the Torn API selections explicitly permitted by the user’s key will be accessed. Mana tools will never request or attempt to access data beyond what is required to fulfill the stated purposes above.

3. Data Security and Storage

• All API keys are stored securely on our systems.
• API keys are not shared, sold, or used for any third-party service.
• Users can request removal of their API key at any time.

4. User Responsibility

• Members are responsible for the permissions they grant when generating their API key.
• We recommend creating a restricted API key.
• For any concerns or support requests regarding API usage, please contact the Mana admin team.
